9/2023 Cabot. This is a great little hidden gem in Cabot. My go to is the pulled pork sandwhich with slaw! Chicken is delicious too. Burgers are great as well! Apple fried pies are on point. Staff have always been courteous. Just a few places to sit if you want to dine in, we always get ours to go. Call your order in ahead of time!

Why haven’t I been here sooner??? Ditch the fast food and take a trip in time to 1972 when most restaurants were family owned, unique, and usually much higher quality. This is where I will go from now on.

We have lived here for 15 years and just tried this place for the first time. I’m from Michigan. We have a place called Chicken Shack up there. They broast (pressure fry) their food. It was my absolute favorite place to get chicken and I haven’t been able to find a place that compared until now. Not sure if they have the same cooking method, but the results are the same! I wish we would have tried this place sooner. It’s fantastic! We will definitely be back!

I love this place. I accidentally came across it one day and promised myself I would come back… I have a thing for places like this in the middle of nowhere. I pretty much ordered a buffet of the most random food. The BBQ was tasty. The fried chicken was really good (especially for a guy what doesn’t do much fried chicken). The fried okra was the best I have had in a very long time. I would highly recommend. The people there are nice and welcoming. There place has some neat history. If you’re in Austin and looking for some great food. This place is fantastic.
